Founded in 1974 as a business forms and label distributor serving northwestern South Carolina, the company later expanded into eastern Georgia and western North Carolina. Its owner brought a strong background in forms and labels from his previous sales role at UARCO, then the second‑largest company of its kind in the United States.
Over time, CBS transitioned from distribution to manufacturing. Today, the company produces plastic cards, key tags, discount cards, high‑color plastic signs, and a range of menu products for restaurants. CBS serves clients in all fifty states as well as Canada, Central America, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
